Comments: Sites w/ water & electric. Cabins, clean bathrooms w/ hot showers. Box stalls or open corrals. You can ride on your own or book a guide on horseback, we did both and it was great to get a little history of the battle. 5 minute drive to downtown gettysburg with lots to do and great eating! Trails go by many monuments, canons, and re-enactments complete with musket fire. Approx 41/2 hr drive from Long Island.

Comments: Sites, cabins,rental horses, meals for groups (pre-arranged). Straight stalls for horses, covered round pen arena for clinics (Tommy Turvey and Josh Lyons in the summer)Very scenic riding but TOUGH on the feet. Not for the faint of heart horse or rider! The best rides are 4-5 hrs and the ride thru the clarion river was awesome. Would definately recommend some kind of boots or pads on front feet. This is a 6-6/1/2 drive from Long Island.
